VitaTops

When I heard that Vitalicious, was offering free shipping with the Hungry Girl Explosion, I quickly entered my credit card information and purchased this deal. I have been reading numerous good things about Vitatops on the Weight Watchers message boards and was anxiously awaiting their arrival. When they came, I quickly tried one and was dissappointed. I thought that the Vitatops were dry. Although, my boyfriend who can afford to eat actual fat laced desserts thought that they were "not bad".

I will continue to eat them for breakfast and snacks, but I don't think that I will be reordering them. If they were cheaper then maybe I would continue to satisfy my chocolate cravings with Vitalicious products. I am hoping that this purchase will encourage and motivate me to bake my own reduced fat muffins and freeze them. I also have to note that my Double Chocolate DreamVitaTops do not have that many white chocolate chips.

If you are looking for something chocolatey for only 100 calories, 5-6 grams of fiber and under 2 grams of fat, but not moist, please try the VitaTops!

I wrote about the vita muffins the other day and said the same thing - incredibly dry and they just crumbled into one big mess, we actually ate them with spoons!

When you said that they were called Vitatops, I thought about Seinfield and the episode where Elaine had this idea to start selling muffin tops because she always thought that the bottoms were just too dry and she'd throw them away but then someone overheard her and stole her idea.

I LOVE vitatops! Yes, they may be a bit dry, but I put a little dollop of ff cool whip on them and I dont even notice the dryness. So good for only one point!!!

I love VitaTops! I've been buying them for a few months now, and eat one everyday... I eat the bran ones for breakfast (I love the apple-cran), and usually save the chocolate ones for dessert. I get a real kick out of heating one up in the microwave and adding a Weight Watchers English Toffee ice cream bar on top (I scrape it off the stick). It tastes like a rich brownie sundae. It fulfills any sweet and chocolatey cravings for only 3 points!

Well, most of them also like the WW snack cakes too.

Keep them frozen. They are so much better straight out of the freezer. Seriously.

I havent had any problems with putting them in the toaster. They havent been dry at all. Straight out of the freezer, directly into the toaster. YUM!

Interesting that you feel they are too dry. I feel quite the opposite. I usually defrost mine then put them in the toaster, for the fruit muffins, to dry them up a bit. I have always felt the chocolate ones were perfect as-is. Perhaps freezing them first is the key. Although I usually eat one when they first arrive and have always enjoyed it.

I just love the Vita Tops!!
The only ones I have had that are dry are the corn ones.
I usually take my tops out of the freezer leave in the plastic and put in the microwave for 15-20 seconds. DON'T open the plastic until done. I watch it and if it looks like it is going to pop in the microwave I take it out. I eat mine on a plate with a fork because I think it last longer. I eat them every morning for breakfast with a piece of fruit. The chocolate ones I have for dessert, sometimes with fat free, sugar free ice cream on it.YUMMM! Sometime I just have them for a snack. I take them with me when I go shopping because it save me from buying junk to snack on. They are like a meal in a little package. I can eat up to 5 boxes a week!!!!

I have just discovered Vitatops, and i LOVE the deep chocolate. The trick is to eat them right out of the freezer. They're cold and chewy. I also like to pour a container of Fiber One vanilla yogurt on top and mabe a few chopped salted peanuts. Try the yogurt topping if you think they're dry!
